Passionate Jesus followers are gathering together in a place called the “Prayer Room”. There, a worship band called UPPERROOM leads powerful, and often spontaneous, worship. For almost seven years, their praise sessions were behind closed doors. Then, last year, they released their first music, Moments (EP). Now, we’re getting an even bigger glimpse of this God-filled praise movement.
UPPERROOM just put out their first full-length album, To The One. With it, they’re taking their worship to the world — via iTunes, Spotify, and beyond.
“Surrounded (Fight My Battles)” is one track you might be a little familiar with off this debut record. It’s already garnered 4 million views on YouTube! And, it’s the song Michael W. Smith sang live on ABC’s Good Morning America last year.
