While Manafest’s No. 1 hit “Let You Drive” from his album Reborn is about taking your hands off the wheel and knowing that God’s got everything under control, “Pray” suggests plugging directly into the source.
“I believe in the power of prayer and that prayers spoken in faith can change things,” says Manafest. “I think as a believer, it is our strongest weapon we have when fighting through the battles of life. I wish prayer was always the first thing I go to when I hit a wall, but sometimes I find myself calling a friend first or trying to figure it out on my own. Sometimes we have to hit rock bottom before we decide to finally pray. I hope this song inspires people to pray more often.”
