Mega Man Zero
The “Mega Man Zero” series is an action-platformer franchise developed by Capcom for the Game Boy Advance handheld console. Spanning four main titles released between 2002 and 2005, the series is a spin-off of the iconic Mega Man franchise, set in a post-apocalyptic world where humans and Reploids, humanoid robots with free will, coexist. Players assume the role of Zero, a legendary Reploid warrior, as he fights against the forces of Neo Arcadia led by the tyrannical ruler, Copy X, and later, the menacing Dr. Weil.
The gameplay of the “Mega Man Zero” series retains the classic platforming and action elements of its predecessors while introducing new features and mechanics. Players navigate through challenging levels, defeat enemies using Zero’s arsenal of weapons and abilities, and confront powerful bosses at the end of each stage. The series introduces the “Cyber-Elf” system, allowing players to collect and utilize small creatures called Cyber-Elves to gain various enhancements and abilities.
