Friday Night Funkin’ made its debut on October 5, 2020, emerging from the creative cauldron of the Ludum Dare 47 game jam, a renowned game development competition hosted by Newgrounds. Initially featuring a tutorial, 2 weeks, and 6 songs, this rhythm game cast players in the role of the boyfriend, navigating a musical showdown to win the heart of their beloved.

Story:

You play as the “Boyfriend”, whom had to prove himself worthy of dating the “Girlfriend” in singing and rapping battle against arrays of different characters ranging from her Dad to her Mom.

Friday Night Funkin currently have 8 weeks, each with its own unique character(s) and songs to sing. There is also an erect remix in the freeplay menu.
