Ayrton Senna’s Super Monaco GP 2 (SEGA)
Ayrton Senna’s Super Monaco GP II is an arcade-style Formula One racing video game developed by Sega. Released in 1992, it was available on the Sega Genesis and Mega Drive, Master System, and Game Gear. The game stands out for its endorsement by the renowned Formula One driver Ayrton Senna, who also contributed advice and insights, enhancing the game’s authenticity and appeal.
The game features 19 racetracks, mirroring the tracks from the 1991 Formula One World Championship season, along with three additional fantasy tracks in the Senna GP mode. Players experience the race from a first-person perspective, directly from the driver’s seat, complete with a dashboard display that includes a rear-view mirror, a tachometer, a speedometer, and a track map. The game supports up to six save slots, allowing multiple players to save their progress independently.
