Adventure Island 3 (NES)

Adventure Island 3, released by Hudson Soft in 1992 for the NES, is the third installment in the Adventure Island series and wasn’t released in Europe. This side-scrolling platformer introduces the ability for the character, Higgins, to crouch, though it removes his ability to backtrack during stages. Higgins has a new dinosaur companion, a triceratops, and can use a boomerang in addition to his traditional weapon. The game retains its inventory system, allowing Higgins to hold up to eight items and features new hidden rooms, including treasure rooms and bonus rounds.
